Invisible Braces

Clear aligners, also known as invisible braces, are an innovative orthodontic treatment option that has gained popularity in recent years. At our practice, we are proud to offer this treatment to patients of all ages, as we believe in the numerous benefits it provides.

Clear aligners are custom-made, removable trays that are designed to fit snugly over the teeth, gently shifting them into proper alignment over time.

Benefits Of Clear Aligners

Here are some of the amazing benefits of clear aligners:

  1. Discreet Appearance: Unlike traditional metal braces, clear aligners are virtually invisible, making them a great option for patients who want to straighten their teeth without drawing attention to their treatment.
  2. Removable: Clear aligners are removable, which means that patients can take them out to eat, brush, and floss. This allows for easier maintenance of oral hygiene and means that patients can continue to enjoy their favourite foods without restrictions.
  3. Comfortable: Clear aligners are made from a smooth, flexible plastic material that is gentle on the teeth and gums. There are no wires or brackets to cause irritation or discomfort, making clear aligners a more comfortable treatment option.
  4. Efficient: Clear aligners are designed to gradually shift the teeth into place over time, with each set of aligners bringing patients one step closer to their desired result. Treatment times are typically shorter than with traditional braces, and patients can often see results in as little as two months to a year.
  5. Predictable: Clear aligners are created using advanced 3D imaging technology, which allows for precise treatment planning and predictable results. Patients can see a digital representation of their treatment plan before they begin, which can help them visualize their end result and understand the process better.

At our practice, we encourage patients of all ages to consider clear aligners as a treatment option. Whether you’re a teenager or an adult, clear aligners offer numerous benefits that can help you achieve a straighter, healthier smile. Technology Behind Invisible Braces

At The CDE, we are committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the field of orthodontics. One of the ways we do this is by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to provide our patients with the most advanced and efficient treatment options available.

When it comes to invisible braces, AI plays a critical role in the treatment planning process. We use state-of-the-art 3D imaging technology to create a digital model of each patient’s teeth and jaw. This model is then fed into our AI software, which analyses the data and creates a customized treatment plan for each patient. Using AI in this way allows us to create a highly accurate and personalized treatment plan that takes into account the unique characteristics of each patient’s teeth and jaw. The software can also predict the outcome of treatment, allowing us to show patients what their teeth will look like at the end of treatment before they even begin.

In addition to treatment planning, we also use AI to monitor the progress of treatment. We can track the movement of teeth in real time using special sensors that are embedded in the clear aligners. This allows us to make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed, ensuring that patients achieve the best possible results.

By leveraging the power of AI, we are able to provide our patients with a highly advanced and efficient treatment option that is tailored to their individual needs. We believe that this approach to orthodontic care represents the future of the field, and we are proud to be at the forefront of this exciting new development.

Spark And Invisalign Orthodontic Treatment Available

At The CDE, we offer both Spark and Invisalign as options for orthodontic treatment. While both systems use clear aligners to gradually shift teeth into their proper positions, there are some key differences between the two.

Invisalign is a well-established system that has been around for several years. It also utilizes attachments, which are small, tooth-coloured buttons that are placed on specific teeth to help the aligners apply the right amount of pressure. Invisalign aligners are custom-made for each patient and are made of a special material that is comfortable and easy to wear. They are also virtually invisible, making them a popular choice for individuals who want a discreet orthodontic treatment option.

Spark, on the other hand, is a newer system that uses a proprietary device called a SmartForce attachment in addition to clear aligners. These attachments are designed to help achieve more precise tooth movements, which can lead to faster and more effective treatment. Like Invisalign, Spark aligners are custom-made for each patient and are made of a clear, comfortable material.

While both Invisalign and Spark use attachments, the SmartForce attachments used in Spark are designed to provide more precise movements, which can result in shorter treatment times and more predictable results. Ultimately, the choice between the two systems will depend on the specific needs and goals of each patient. Our team at The CDE can evaluate each patient’s unique situation and recommend the best treatment option to achieve their desired results.

Latest Innovations In Invisible Braces

At The CDE, we are proud to offer Spark’s latest innovation – TruGen XR technology – to our patients. This cutting-edge technology takes orthodontic treatment to the next level by providing more precise and efficient tooth movements.

TruGen XR is a type of SmartForce attachment that is placed on specific teeth to help guide them into the correct position. What sets TruGen XR apart from other attachments is its advanced design, which allows for more complex movements. The attachment features a small, tooth-coloured tab that is placed on the tooth and a flexible arm that extends from the tab. This arm creates a gentle and continuous force that moves the tooth in the desired direction.

One of the main advantages of TruGen XR is that it allows for more efficient and predictable treatment outcomes. The attachment’s design enables it to move teeth in more complex directions, which can result in shorter treatment times and more precise results. Additionally, TruGen XR is designed to minimize discomfort during treatment, making the overall orthodontic experience more comfortable for patients.

TruGen XR technology is just one of the many ways that Spark is leading the way in orthodontic treatment. Our team at The CDE is dedicated to staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in orthodontic technology, which allows us to provide our patients with the most effective and efficient treatment options available. If you are interested in learning more about TruGen XR or any of our other orthodontic treatments, please contact us to schedule a consultation.

Invisible Braces Prices And Procedure

At The CDE, we understand that orthodontic treatment is a significant investment in your dental health and appearance. That’s why we have designed our orthodontic process to be as comprehensive and convenient as possible, while also accommodating a range of budgets. Our orthodontic process begins with a thorough diagnostic process, which includes pictures, X-rays, 3D scans, intra-oral scans, digital planning, and manufacturing. This initial step allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Approximately three weeks after the initial diagnostic process, we will begin the treatment process, which typically involves appointments once every month or two months. For international travellers or patients who may find it difficult to come to the practice, we can arrange appointments once every six months. We believe that regular check-ups are essential to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned and to make any necessary adjustments along the way.

Once the treatment is complete, we will provide you with a professional home kit to whiten your teeth, as well as bonding to the front six upper teeth to fix any chips or imperfections. We will also provide you with retainers, which can be either removable or fixed, to ensure that your teeth stay in their new positions.

At The CDE, we understand that budget is a concern for many of our patients, which is why we offer a range of payment options. We require a deposit of R35,000 to begin treatment, and then we charge a monthly fee from as little as R2500 per month. The exact amount will be determined upon consultation based on the severity of your case. We are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality orthodontic care and ensuring that the treatment process is as comfortable and convenient as possible. If you are interested in learning more about our orthodontic process or would like to schedule a consultation, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

An orthodontic treatment can range anything from R20 000 – R150 000, easily payable in monthly instalments as explained above.

Ultilgn For Minor Movements

The CDE provides a range of orthodontic treatment options, including Ultilign invisible braces, specifically designed for minor tooth movements. These braces are ideal for situations where teeth have relapsed after previous orthodontic treatment or when minimal adjustments are required, and the bite alignment is already correct.
Ultilign invisible braces utilize a series of clear aligners to gradually shift the teeth into their desired positions. The aligners are custom-made to fit snugly over the teeth, making them virtually invisible when worn. They are removable, allowing for easy oral hygiene maintenance and the ability to enjoy your favorite foods without restrictions.
One notable advantage of Ultilign braces is their affordability. They are considered the most cost-effective option for treating minor orthodontic cases. This makes them a popular choice for individuals seeking a more budget-friendly solution for minor tooth movement.
